CAD21 have been appointed on the P22 framework to deliver a £3m ward refurb from acceptance of the site to operational use in 10 weeks.

The works involved extensive investigation works and rapid design to allow the integration of the new services into a live operational environment.

The primary objective of the works was to provide enhancement air change rates via a new ventilation systems to provide enhanced levels of care for Covid 19 patients.

CAD21 are currently designing the scheme at the client aspiration of 10 air changes per hour throughout all bedrooms whilst meeting HBM requirements for room layouts and ceiling heights within a 60 year old building.
