CAD21 has been appointed as part of the Integrated Health Projects Team (Sir Robert McAlpine) to deliver the new Theatre Refurbishment at the Airedale Hospital site under the Pagabo framework

The new facility will comprise two open Bar Theatres and a Procedure Suite as a new build extension to the existing theatres.

The challenges for the project were beyond the technicalities of the air flow to the theatres. Detailed work was need with the Trust and the MEP nominated supply chain partner to carry out the necessary investigation works to allow the integration to connect of the new LTHW supply to the Theatre extension

CAD21 worked closely with the PSCM and the Client to assist with budget test and scheme viability. Originally the scheme was larger, but as a team we ensured that the scheme was design within the cost envelope of the OBC budget.
