Industrial
Every facility is its own brief
Every industrial space we design is unique to the function and activities within it, whether that’s pharmaceutical, data centre, heavy manufacturing, high-tech or biotech.
Process-driven industrial facilities are highly demanding and depend entirely on the MEP environments we create. CAD21 has experience across the full range of fields that sit within our industrial category, all with critical design factors: strict environmental control, black utility resilience, large-scale infrastructure, and detailed fit-out and connectivity.
Typically we design these facilities from the inside out. Rooms are designed to suit the activities and equipment within, and adjacencies are set to meet the process journey, following product and personnel flow paths. Once that’s set, the spaces are wrapped in an external shell to form the building envelope.

Precision and verification
Designing systems that meet specific requirements means working with our clients to industry milestone and gateway protocols. By demonstrating thorough process management and evidence-based delivery, CAD21 controls the design journey so full accreditation is achieved. That gives our industrial clients the proof behind their declaration of compliance, and supports effective production and facility management in operation.
Scale and complexity
Whether it’s a small scale-up pharmaceutical cleanroom suite or a large industrial facility for heavy manufacturing, CAD21 follows the same design process. Large or small, projects carry complex demands, and a strict gateway delivery pattern means we record an evidence-based design journey to support our clients throughout.
