Education spaces need to support how people teach and learn, and a calm, comfortable environment promotes both. Having designed facilities from primary through to higher education, including SEN and SEND environments, we understand the specific and varied design requirements across the sector, along with the challenge of driving the Net Zero Carbon agenda into educational building design.
CF25 Framework
We’re positioned with contractor delivery partners on the new CF25 educational framework, and on the same framework within the volumetric building market, having already delivered numerous schools in modular form. A standardised approach and enhanced design detailing increase factory completion percentages, so more of the building arrives finished.
Working with education professionals and contractors from day one, we identify constraints and opportunities early so we can design space that delivers better educational outcomes for the future.
Effective delivery
Education runs to strict programme demands, so our design process is built to keep projects on schedule. We understand build sequence and planning in contractor-led environments, including phasing around live school sites to keep disruption to a minimum, and our design methods are tailored to suit procurement and install deadlines.
Standardised design models support a common approach within a framework environment, and we set ourselves the challenge of creating repeatability and simplification across the design and construct journey, so delivery is predictable and dependable.
