Whether it’s a morning swim that fits into the day or a spa that lets you step out of it for a while, the design has to match the mood it’s built for. We’ve worked across the full range of leisure and recreational spaces, from luxury hotels and spas to swimming pools, gyms and community leisure centres, and each one asks for a different feel. Working alongside hospitality groups, local authorities and operators, we design spaces that run well day to day and give people a reason to come back.
Attention to detail sets the mood
Leisure is about how a space feels: the comfort, the atmosphere, the mood. That comes from close attention to detail, whether we’re simplifying a community centre so it works hard and feels good to be in, or specifying premium systems and finishes for a high-end spa or hotel.
The hub of local areas
Leisure centres sit at the heart of community life, places where people meet, stay active and look after themselves. Our aim on every leisure project is the same, to improve wellbeing, whether that comes through relaxation or through physical activity. They serve families, all generations and those who’d otherwise have nowhere else to go for community, so that reach shapes how we design them.
