Project Overview
Durham Business College & Whickham High School
Durham and Whickham school projects are part of a five school EFSA framework batch. The future schools include two secondary schools in Hartlepool – English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College and High Tunstall College of Science, plus Whickham School in Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham Community Business College.
The combined value of the schools is approximately £67 million. Durham school is an offsite prefabricated solution to provide new general classroom space at Kepier school, Houghton le Spring near Durham – CAD21 involvement was a stage 3 design + stage 4 infrastructure design. Whickham school is a full design delivery and consists of general, science, multi-use and sports facilities.
