In collaboration with Caddick Construction and Enjoy Design Architects, CAD21 were employed by the Luminate Education Group to deliver the detailed design and build contract for their new 4500m2 6^th Form College and Technical Workshop building for Harrogate College.

To ensure that the new building is as energy efficiency as possible and to source additional funding the design is net zero carbon in operation ready (NZCIO)

CAD21 carried out all the detailed modelling analysis required to ensure that the kWh/m2 of operational energy was met. We successfully recorded 65 kWh/m2 as the operational energy. We then developed an adaptable solution for inclusion of PV panels that would ultimately leave the building as net zero carbon.
