The scheme consisted of a two-story extension, at Hillsborough College campus. It housed a new performing arts space, media facilities, and general teaching rooms. The extension also has a theatre, drama studio, dance studio and rehearsal rooms. There is also new horticulture facilities.

The engineering services consisted of mixed mode mechanical and natural ventilation which required detailed bulk air movement and thermal response analysis.
