Working as part of a UK delivery team under direct appointment from Amoun Pharmaceuticals, Egypt, CAD21 designed a new sterile facility comprising four Class B cleanroom suites and Class D circulation zone.  Our team played a key role in providing experience and knowledge to the Client’s site team in terms of process flow, room layouts and air quality requirements.

Numerous site visits and progress meetings were held in Egypt in order to develop the final design.  The most challenging aspects of the project were driven by the Client’s attempt to introduce such a highly serviced facility into an existing building structure that hadn’t been designed for its new purpose.  All of our design was coordinated off site using BIM Level 2 and federated with all other services. This allowed off-site manufacturing of the ductwork in Egypt.
